This week will mark 180 posts for our little Blushing Hostess and Google is kind enough to inform me that we have a number of readers and subscribers. How it pains The Hostess that most are silent. I adore hearing from you, here in the Comments are below which you'll find a mite easier than emails. Promise me you'll write Comments to me now, won't you?

I only recently discovered your blog. I check in 3 or 4 times a week. If you truly are posting at 3:39 a.m. you must be sleeping now or live somewhere around the globe. I live in Northern Michigan. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Thanks.
I have been reading your posts for about 6 months. I live in North Carolina and enjoy all things southern and love entertaining. (I realize you live in New York but your blog has a distinctly southern feel to it - and I think I have surmised that you spend time in the south - maybe Charleston?) Anyway, I smiled warmly while reading your post yesterday about the tea sandwiches. My mother raised me on them and has very high standards in which they are to be prepared! They must be prepared on Pepperidge Farm thin sliced bread, cut into rounds with a cookie cutter (or mason jar) and served open faced! Our favorites are cucumber & dill, thinly sliced radishes with butter and egg salad.
I have noticed over the months that you don't get many comments - I'll try to do better because I truly enjoy reading your blog!
Keep it up. You're doing great. Most people don't comment. (And those that do, well, sometimes you wish they hadn't.)
Hello kiddo. You already know I think your writing is faulous. The comment thing can be a little frustrating but don't let that stop you from posting! Please? I just found you and I really really like it here ;)
I have good freinds and family who read my blog who have never left a comment...it's just not going to happen no matter how much I wish they would. They e-mail me, they call me to talk about a post they liked...but leave a comment? Nope, not going to happen.
Then there's my mom, who refuses to own a computer, and who won't read my blog even when I put my laptop in front of her.
